A farm product auction is a location where agricultural products, including food products, are offered for sale at auction. Note: For a complete list of allowed food products please reference the Ohio Department of Agriculture link located below.
Licensure
A farm market and farm product auction may be exempt from licensing. The exemption to the retail food establishment license is based on the types of foods offered for sale and voluntary registration with Ohio Department of Agriculture’s Division of Food Safety.
